Release Notes for $FULL_VARIANT_NAME
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This release was cross-compiled for the first time, which shouldn't
cause any problems but as we previously used Acorn C/C++ wherever
possible the change to GCC might throw up a bug or two.  The frontend
now also uses Jeffrey Lee's Absolutely module to ensure that the game
has a large enough Wimpslot set when it is run, so that I can automate
the process more easily.
The game now provides bigscreen support.  This enables you to
change the size of the terminals from the "window menu".  Window
sizes, like locations, are saved by selecting "save choices" from
the iconbar menu.
Note that when you change window size, most variants do not attempt
to ensure the window is fully drawn or contains all relevant information.
Pressing Ctrl-R after a resize should normally be sufficient.  If you
start the game in one size and remian with that window size, you will
experience no problems.
As the fullscreen mode is fixed at 80x24, you may have to refresh the
screen when you switch between fullscreen and windowed mode.
All RISC OS bug reports should be sent to antony@isparp.co.uk or
posted on the rec.game.roguelike.angband newsgroup.  Game bugs
shouldn't be sent to me really, but sometimes it's hard to tell the
difference.
Have fun,
Antony
